AHCC® is a nutritional supplement derived from the root-like hairs of the shiitake mushroom, also known as Lentinula edodes. The compound modulates the immune system by stimulating the production of white blood cells.
AHCC® has been used for centuries in traditional medicine. Over the past 20 years, the compound has undergone extensive scientific research with more than 30 clinical trials supporting its use in response to viral infections and cancers by supporting the immune system.

AHCC® contains polysaccharides called alpha and beta-glucans. Polysaccharides are found in many plants and fungal species and have been found to have many healing properties. Beta-glucans are found in many medicinal mushrooms and improve gut immunity.

Clinical studies recommend supplementing AHCC® in two doses daily on an empty stomach. The first dose is taken in the morning and the second dose at night. If swallowing or taking supplements is a challenge, AHCC® may also be taken with food.
It can take time before you notice an improvement in your health when taking AHCC®. We recommend supplementing daily for at least three months for the compound to take effect.
